Water off at Fifth Street gardens?

This morning we went to water our neighbors garden while they are out of town and we could not find a tap that works. Does anyone know about this? Thank you.

There was an email this morning around 9 am saying that a spigot was broken at lot C5. Verified at 9:42. Someone then posted that it was being worked on at 10:15 and was expected to be on aby 1:30. Then another message saying it may be on by 2:00 pm. Then someone from the city Kellie Vitaich confirmed with this;

"
Hello gardeners,

The water is currently off to repair a broken hose bib. It should be back on by 2:00 p.m.

Thank you,

Kellie"

It's probably back on if you want to try to scoot over there before dark (very soon) or just try in the morning. No one has verified that it is back on yet but I will be there in the morning and check and post back here.

Happy gardening.

We went by just before dark and our shared spigot with a two way worked for a short time. It seems the water pressure is very low. Can not be sure that the water in the hose was all available because we have drip small hose hoses that are very slow anyway and will be backed up by an already full main hose. About an hour later it seemed to have stopped. I don't want to try to make an educated guess because we are not sure, but it appears that the water is still off and that would also explain why no one has said it was on again. I wish the city would post updates on here.

We grow a small garden here and use it for our table meals. So wonderful to have.
We went by this morning to water our lot and a lot by our neighbors out of town and there was no water at all.

But there is now.

I just did the no-no of going by after dark and testing the water key and it's on. We were able to water the pumpkins and go to the store and then come back and shut it off. No problem with water pressure at all, it is there now. You are not supposed to be in the gardens late at night but we had to once the water was back on. Even though it was extremely hot in Davis today the gardens had a breeze and there is water now. Suggested that everyone water tomorrow since we just exited the last super hot day of the year.
